Joy Luck Club - Chinatown Culinary Tour

I had the pleasure of hosting the "Joy Luck Club" Chinatown Culinary Tour tonight.  We were able to visit three different restaurants:  Golden City, Master Chef and Mandarin Chateau.  We had three tables of guests who all heard about this tour from various places.  Everyone was so fun and we all had a blast eating, talking and drinking.

So many delicious dishes...but here are my stand out dishes of the night.  I don't have a picture of the Tea Smoked Duck...which was really delicious (from Mandarin Chateau).

The fish was so incredibly buttery and tender.  I loved the soy sauce mixture they used to season the fish and it was soooooo good on rice.

These little juicy mouthfuls of deliciousness was the winner of the night for me.  But you all know how much I love anything that is made with dough and wrapped around meat!  Tender, flavorful and oh so juicy!!  I am going back just to eat more of these delectable babies!!

Thank you Chinatown BID, George Yu and Jean Chan for putting together such a wonderful event!  Not only did I get to meet so many wonderful new friends, but also the opportunity to introduce some new Chinese dishes to them that they never would have tried on their own.
